Our youth board "Faces of Change" created this wonderful poem, then presented it at our 5th annual Unity Awards.

It's simply beautiful.

We all belong

Our actions matter

Reach out to others

Lead with respect

Differences are valuable

Words and actions lift others up

I will be the one who starts the change Think about how others feel

Have confidence and know your importance Outstanding actions have outstanding impacts

Use your voice for those who can’t Teach others how to spread kindness

Be someone’s reason to smile

United despites our differences Listen to other’s perspective with an open mind

Love yourself

You can make a positive impact In a world where you can do anything, inspire kindness

No one can help everyone, but everyone can help someone

The Faces of Change believes that our generation has a responsibility to lead and interact with kindness, acceptance and inclusion. Our goal is to promote bullying prevention and inspire students to support one another. We are leaders who care and we will use our voices to show that student involvement can create positive change, resulting in stronger relationships, safer schools, and more supportive communities.
