Moving Toward a World Without Bullying

When our son David was little, he didn't walk, instead he scooted. With his legs in the criss-cross position, he motored around by propelling his two feet forward, followed by the rest of his body. The soles of his little high tops were completely intact, with the cloth on the outside of each shoe frayed and threadbare. At the age of three, this changed, he began to stand more and more, which was quickly followed by taking steps. From those early steps, he discovered the joy of moving fast, and starting running. He loved to run. For him it was absolute joy, and he did with a smile and laughter.

David is my daily reminder that anything is possible. He is also my inspiration for participating on our annual RUN WALK ROLL event held throughout the month of April.

I would like to encourage everyone to participate in the RUN WALK ROLL contributing your miles to reach the goal of circling the world to symbolize “moving toward a world without bullying.” Participate from anywhere, anytime. Teams and individuals can determine their own mileage goal to run, walk, roll, stroll, swim, bike, or hike, logging the distances throughout the month. Every mile contributed will move us one step closer to a world that is kinder, more accepting, and more inclusive for all. Plus, there is the opportunity to participate in fun activities along the way and win prizes! Sign up for free at https://runsignup.com/.../Minn.../FriendsofPACERsRunWalkRoll
